“…for we walk by faith and not by sight…” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)

Because we are in flesh, we sometimes tend to approach our Christian walk with the senses. We try to reason out God’s word with our senses and expect to get results. We ask lots and lots of questions because we are trying to figure out matters of the spirit with the senses. This explains the reason why there are still lots of Christians who are very carnal. When you talk about spiritual things, they argue about it and try to make physical sense out of it. No wonder the bible says, “…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned…”1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV). So it is important that you approach your Christian walk by the Spirit and not by your physical senses.

You must understand that the things of the Spirit does not always make physical sense. If you try to reason it out with your physical senses, you will veer off course. Therefore, make a conscious decision to walk by the leading of the Spirit of God and not by your senses. If there are issues you don’t understand in the scriptures, don’t try to figure them out with your senses, because you will never get the understanding that is needed. Rather go to God in prayers and ask Him to give you understanding by His Spirit and He will certainly give you the understanding that you require. Understand that God is willing to grant you revelations of His word if you are willing to receive it and live by it. The bible says, “…it is the father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom…” Luke 12:32 (NKJV). Meaning, He is ever ready to give you understanding when you need it. Refuse to be like many out there who walk by their senses and argue almost everything written in the scripture. They have not come to understand the Christian race. If they do, they will walk by the Spirit and not by their senses. Halleluiah!

The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit, therefore refuse to be natural!

Thank you Heavenly father for giving me your Spirit to guide me in my Christian walk and grant me understanding of your kingdom and righteousness. I choose this day to follow the leading of your Spirit and not my senses in the name of Jesus. Amen!
