“…. those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing. Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bring his sheaves with him…” —Psalms 126:5-6 (NKJV)

The word of God is filled with principles that have the ability to make life simple for us. One of those principles is the principle of giving. It is a principle that produces results anytime it is put to work. The challenge is that most people are not engaging themselves in it so they are not able to tap into the blessings that giving brings. However, I want to encourage you to engage in this principle more often because it has the ability to bring you supplies like you have never experienced before. In the book of 1 Kings 17:8-15, the Bible gave us an account of Elijah and the widow of Zarephath. There was a severe famine in the land and all that the widow had was a small portion of food. Her plan was to eat it and die because that was all she could think of.

However, the man of God came into the picture and introduced her to the principle of sacrifice (Giving) which changed everything completely for her. The man of God said to her, “…bring me a little water in a cup that I may drink…” And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand” So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I am go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die” And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord God of Israel. The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth’” So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah…” At first, all she could think of was to prepare the little she had for her household so that they could eat and die but God had a different plan for her. The solution to her predicament was right in the little she had. All she needed to do was not to eat it all but sacrifice it and this brought the unlimited supply that sustained her that season. Beloved, I do not know the situation you have found yourself in now, but I want you to know that you can provoke supplies through your sacrifice. Just the way Elijah the prophet introduced that lady to the principle of sacrifice, that is the same way, I am introducing you to it as well. All you have right now is not your last. Refuse to think it is over because it is not. There is enough waiting to be released to you, but you must be ready to make a sacrifice because it is your connection to the supplies that you require. Praise God!

The supplies that will come to you are dependent on how much you are willing to release in faith!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for revealing to me the secrets of supernatural supplies. I declare that as I engage in this principle, I receive supplies in an uncommon way, now and all the days of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
