“…commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass…”Psalms 37:5 (NKJV)

If you truly want to get answers from God in whatever situation you have found yourself, it is important that you abide to two major rules. They are committing whatever it is you desire to His hands, and then trusting Him to move on your behalf. Beloved, these two rules are very important because they hold the keys to getting the kind of results you want to get as a Christian. Something I have come to understand about many of God’s people is that, it is easy for them to commit their desires to God, but when it comes to trusting God to fulfil their desires, they find it really very difficult. You see them worried and disturbed because of what they are going through. In most cases, they lose hope immediately after prayers and you begin to wonder if they really believed when they prayed. Well, when you operate like this as a believer, you will not be able to get anything from God. Because trusting God to fulfil the desires of your heart is very important. So it is not enough to present your request, trust Him enough to fulfil the request. In the book of Hebrews 11:6 the Bible says, “…he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him…” Did you see that? It means, you must believe that the one you are dealing with here is God and not a man. That alone can change everything for you. So I encourage you today to trust God after you have made your request and He shall bring that desire to pass according the scriptures in our opening text.

You might say but I have been trusting God for a very long time now to move in my life and nothing has happened. Well, if you have been trusting God, it is means you are on track. Maintain your stand in God and keep pressing on. As long as you have prayed, start thanking God now and know without a shadow of doubt that He whom you have spoken to has answered you. Have that confidence and there will be a change. Sometimes, all it takes is time but if you hold on long enough, you will be fulfilled, for He makes all things beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Halleluiah!

Asking God to fulfil your desires is not enough, trust Him to actually do it!

Thank you heavenly father for making it easy to present my request before you, I will continually put my trust in you because I know that you still do exceeding and abundant things. So today, I decree that I am receiving the answers to my prayers and I am living a fulfilled life because of your faithfulness in the name of Jesus. Amen!
