“…oh fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him…” Psalms 34:9 (NKJV)

As you grow in your walk with the Lord, the easiest way to experience the kind of results that the Bible talks about is to live by the principles in God’s word. One of such principles that can change everything about your life is the fear of the Lord. It can turn your whole life around but you must be diligent enough to walk in it in every area of your life. In our opening text, the Bible says “…oh fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him…” Psalms 34:9 (NKJV). Did you see that? It says there is no want to those who fear the Lord. In other words, if you have the fear of God in you, you will not lack any good thing, abundance will always be the case. Why you might ask? Because the Bible says, “…the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…” Psalms 111:10 (NKJV). And wisdom says, “riches and honour are with me, enduring riches and righteousness” Proverbs 8:18 (NKJV).

So what do you do with this? Make a conscious decision to walk in the fear of the Lord in different areas of your life and you will be amazed how far you will go in life. Why is this important? Because we are living in a world where people no longer have the fear of God in them. They only want to do the things that is in their mind. God gave us moral standards to live by, but man wants to live by his own moral views and this is very destructive. It is the reason many are living a confused life, it is also the reason many are having a tough time in life, because living according to your own moral views instead of God’s moral standard is rebellion, and the bible says “the rebellious dwell in a dry land”- Psalms 68:6 (NKJV). So it’s important that you avoid this in your life. Study the scriptures, know what God wants from you, and live accordingly. If you live like this, your life will move from glory to glory because the scriptures cannot lie. Halleluiah!

The fear of God eliminates lack, so walk in it!

Glorious God, I thank you for your favour and grace, I thank you for giving us your word to guide and guard us. I will continue to live by your word, do what it says and walk in the light of it. And as I do this, I make unimaginable progress in my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
